Flowers and Herbs for honeybees

PLEASE help the honeybees, the wild bees, and all of the pollinators. Most of our fruits and vegetables need to be pollinated. Even though there is snow on the ground in many places it is good to plan now for the spring planting. Many like the look of a huge lawn but that has cut back on the habitat for pollinators and not helped the environment. I have rearranged the list of plants for pre-order, bringing the flowers and herbs to the top of the list. We are making our best guess on which flowers, herbs and vegetables you might like for the summer. Please don’t wait too late to pre-order. NO inflation here, $1 per plant, better than you can do at any of the big box stores or nurseries.  To pre-order list what you would like with the number of each, or copy the list below (adding the number you would like), or print the attachment (write in numbers)-take a picture and return to Facebook: Joseph A Guirreri.
Have a Great week. Help a Bee.

Pick up starting the last Sat in March, at Old Apple Valley Farms, Round Hill, VA, near Bluemont.
Since we will not be able to be on the Spring Loudoun County Farm Tour this year due to a family wedding, we are going to open our farm for business on Saturdays, beginning March 30th (10:00am to 5:00pm).  We will also be selling our honey at the same time so plan to pick up a jar when you are here.
You will not need an appointment during these times but we encourage you to let us know you will be picking up plants so we can have them ready to go.
