    Bluemont Fair 2019

    Join us at our booth in Bluemont! Bluemont Fair is LBA's largest event all year, and we invite you to come see us at our booth, and enjoy the festivities of the fair. The Bluemont Fair hearkens back to the days when locals gathered in the community to celebrate a summers hard work and bounty, and this year they are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

    Joshua's Hands

    Joshua's Hands Fall Festival is a local Waterford event with activities for all ages. This is one of a few yearly events that Joshua's Hands puts on in an effort for youth education and outreach. They provide scholarships for aspiring youths as well. The event is free (donations accepted) and LBA will have a booth there again this year, so please come out and support this worthy cause, and to enjoy a quaint fall festival. This will be an educational event only, and we need 2-3 Volunteers for 2 shifts. Morning shift is from 0900-1300. Afternoon shift is from 1300-1730. Times include light setup and breakdown efforts.     Lovettsville Oktoberfest

    Harvest time is upon us and the Lovettsville Oktoberfest is an opportune time to consign honey, meet people, educate about bees, and celebrate the bounty of the Summer and the beauty of Fall.     World Bee Day

    Celebrate World Bee day! Slovenia proposed that the United Nations (UN) proclaim 20 May as World Bee Day. On 20 December 2017, following three years of efforts at the international level, the UN Member States unanimously approved Slovenia’s proposal, thus proclaiming 20 May as World Bee Day.
  5. Come join us at the Old Stone School for the Gardens in the Gap Fair. We will have a booth for education, outreach and sales!
  6. I own an in home preschool in South Riding and we will be talking about bees later this month. I was looking for a beekeeper to come in and do a short demonstration or just talk to my preschoolers. Is anyone local available to do this? Thanks in advance!
